Blockitecture Series 1: Brutalism

  • Description
  • Details

Building blocks are for kids, right?! Or for architects. Indeed, Blockitecture is a toy inspired by architecture.

Designed by James Paulius for Areaware, Blockitecture is a minimal and clean set of 10 hand-painted blocks of New Zealand pine wood.

The pine pieces aren't actually perfect squares; the different angles challenge your creativity and understanding of physical laws.

Available also Blockitecture Garden City

Great to keep on your desk for that mid-day brain-escape. Ideal for children to stack or to create their own city landscape for car trucks and puppets.

Awarded first place in the RIT Metaproject 03 design competition. Read more here
